On January 1st 2026, NYS implemented the new 2025 ECCCNYS. This new code has changes to insulation and shell requirements. There are also significant changes to the methods of compliance. This program will explain the changes to the code along with corresponding changes to the current stretch codes which are enforced on the south fork.

Tom Baccarella is a 40 year veteran of the Long Island construction industry. He is a certified HERS rater, Level 1 Thermographer, and energy consultant with New York Building Technology Group/ focusing on energy code compliance and green building.
